Your ultimate goal is to not let Clarence drop the ball, because the more he juggles it, the more points you are going to get. To do so, tap left and right using the mouse to move him and always grab the ball. If you juggle multiple balls at a time you get more points, but you also have to make sure to avoid any falling items that are not balls.
